Open a Wine Bottle without a Bottle Opener

Ok. So I come back from uni, having walked 30 minutes under the summer rain in Glasgow and bought a nice red white to accompany my lunch. But how in earth would I open it without a bottle opener? I literally brought the house upside-down to find, but no luck.

But there are always alternatives. Here it is, the way to open a bottle without a bottle opener:

You need a screw, a screw driver and pliers.

  1. Screw the 3/4 of the screw in the cork with the screwdriver
  2. Use the pliers to pull the cork out
  3. Drink wine

Come back to this blog and let me know how it worked out.
